Description
A good pair of shears is an often overlooked piece of must-have trauma gear. If someone is injured and you need to administer aid, the patient's clothing can make it challenging to diagnose and treat the issue at hand. That's why every good trauma kit needs a good pair of shears. Like all trauma response equipment, the easier shears are to access, the better. That's why we're introducing the Trauma Shear Emergency Pouch. It's Velcro-backed so you can stick where you need it, and it stays there.
We're fans of mounting it on the outside of our Small First Aid Kit so that it can be grabbed along with the tourniquet mounted on the bottom of the pouch. It also works inside of our Velcro-lined bags, like the Medium First Aid Kit, the Large First Aid Kit, and the Chest Pack. Or you can use it to keep your trauma shears handy on the Velcro Visor Panel or the top of the MOLLE Seatback Panels.
Even when you aren't addressing a trauma situation, it's a great item to have in your first aid kit to cut tape, trim adhesive bandages to size, or any other time when a sharp edge is needed. As always, the Trauma Shear Emergency Pouch is made in the USA and backed by our lifetime warranty.
