Insane Customized Tacoma Camper Walkaround

We hung out with engineer Riley Newsom of Shrewd Archery at our 2019 Roof Top Tent Rally. He gave us the full tour of his overland rig with a few surprises (3D printed what?!)

When you are taking overland trips with very little space how do you maximize every square inch? This 2016 double cab Tacoma starts with an Alu-Cab canopy camper on the bed and has been filled out from there with some brilliant DIY ingenuity.

Small space doesn’t mean sacrificing the comforts of home. This overland rig features a micro-kitchen complete with sink and slide out table, custom marine-inspired cabinets, exterior shower, hidden storage, sPOD circuit controllers, and split bed platform for the roof-top tent that allows room to move when not in use.
