We've wisely said in the past that 'adventure makes you hungry'. And most of the time waiting until you get to camp means you will end up being hangry on those off-road trails. But we've come up with a solution to keep you well fed and smiling in-between meals when you are out there exploring.
This simple solution, the Snack Carrier, was originally requested by our friends Rob and Crissi Knasel on one of our old 'Organize It!' episodes. They were inspired by overland adventurer Chris Shontz and his love of Cheez-its - thus the Cheez-It Carrier was born!
Our Snack Carrier has had several other incarnations over the years as well: the Cookie Carrier (part of our Snactical month we did several years back), and the GoldFish Carrier. Now the Snack Carrier is back for a new limited run in it's most universal form. Use it for Cheez-Its, use it for cookies, use it for goldfish, use it for any of your favorite travel snacks: chips, veggie straws, beef jerky, GORP - you name it!
But how does it work you ask? The Snack Carrier suspends between the two front seats of a vehicle, allowing for easy access by the driver, the front passenger, or the middle seat riders. Finally, we've democratized road trip snacking and potentially created world peace! Or maybe just saved your family trip into the backcountry.
